Only offered once or twice per year, this 5-part series puts you in the middle of a professionally crafted & custom-made dance Video! In only four 60-minute sessions, you will learn a full choreographed piece, formations, and performance technique by the Choreography King himself. This bucket list experience concludes with a 2-hour production day, full attire, makeup, and recording sessions.
In only 6 hours of your time, spread over 4 weeks, you are provided a fully professional & conceptualized video to share with the world?

Unfortunately, Peacocks, due to the conflict with our Videography Workshop on Fridays, we will have to cancel Girls Night Out Heels class this month. We will resume the #FirstFriday of February and it is sure to be fierce!
Spotlight Series Dance Classes
As always, keep an eye out on our Instagram page for our exciting Spotlight classes! We kick off the month with a Modern class with Sam on January 10th and Tanesa will return for Jazz Fusion on January 17th. On January 24th, we will host our first West African class with Chika and finish off the month with Vogue on January 31st - do not miss!
CLASS ADDITIONS & CHANGES
Part of our ongoing efforts to keep you moving & grooving - we are so excited to announce our partnership with the amazing Bravo Dance Company. WORLD CHAMPION Salsa dancers Alfonso & Jessica, with over 20yrs of teaching experience, will be holding two levels of Salsa classes at the Royal Peacock Studio starting January 12th & every Thursday thereafter! Changes go both ways, sadly - as we grow & adapt to the needs & direction of our little studio, we make the following changes to the schedule:
Effective immediately, Monday & Wednesday 6:30am Rise & Grind class will be removed from the schedule - but please do catch the Saturday 8:30am class going forward. Additionally, a slight change to our Tuesday lineup - TurboMAX will not take place at 5:30pm, and CORE30 will begin immediately following at 6:30pm. We feel this will allow more of you the chance to experience this killer ab-blaster just before our Tuesday Spotlight Series classes.

Be sure to keep an eye on the schedule as we approach the holiday season. There will be modified classes, special subs & studio closures during Thanksgiving week. These changes will be visible on the Wellness Living calendar.
Similarly, Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday, November 6 at 2am. Don’t forget to rewind those clocks 1 hour. This gives us more sunlight in the mornings, but unfortunately has the reverse effect on our evenings. Do your best to not let that derail your goals, Peacocks. Resist that urge to slow down, sink into the couch and gorge on heavy foods.
30 Days of Gratitude
A wise person once said, You don’t regret the things you do, you regret the things you don’t do! So, let’s be grateful for what life has to offer, for being blessed with the ability to move & groove, and dance into November with an attitude of Gratitude. We challenge you to jot down 1 thing you are grateful for every morning upon waking up. Every morning thereafter, read aloud all entries before adding the newest one. By day 30, you’ll have a beautiful reminder of how blessed you are indeed. Then, join us every evening for your favorite dance formats & more! The daily thankfulness challenge together with daily movement will increase endorphins & lower cortisol levels. You won’t regret it!

September Vibes
August ended with a stellar performance by your Royal Peacock Dancers at the annual JFOY Posing for a Purpose Ball. Video will be posted soon on our social media & perhaps a brief watch party at the studio so all can enjoy. While Haus of Royal Peacock did not win the trophy & prize that night, they brought the house down with a full standing ovation by nearly 500 attendees. They represented our Royal Family well and we should ALL be proud.
Wow, what a jam-packed August, Peacocks - We celebrated, we performed, we-redesigned the website & the studio - we slayed! Our 1st Anniversary Gala was a night filled with love, support, merriment, even a pop-up performance! I hope you enjoyed yourself. For those who haven’t heard the news, I have a pet name: PRINCE! The perfect name for the perfect mascot. Congrats to both Jackie Glass & Uyanga Enkhsaikhan for submitting “Prince” and winning free classes all September.

Dance Fitness Class - WERK
Beginning Saturday, Sept 3rd - we are adding a second WERK Dance Cardio class to the schedule, 9:30am every Saturday. Let’s put in the WERK, so we can enjoy our weekend guilt-free. Grab a friend, I hope to see you there!
Spotlight Series Dance Classes
Clear your Tuesdays, Peacocks, we are beefing up our Spotlight Series classes for you. We kick off September with a Contemporary class with Ms Caroline. Nancy returns with our favorite Broadway class Sept 6th. The illustrious Dee will bring a fierce Jazz Fusion class on Tuesday, Sept 13th, followed by our King of Ballroom, Mr Lee, teaching Salsa on Sept 20th.
We have two NEW Spotlight classes thereafter: Sept 27th, we bring you Belly Dance for beginners and by popular demand, VOGUE elements on October 4th. We are working diligently to bring unique formats that will broaden your horizons & dance experiences. See you on the dance floor.
Lastly, in observance of Labor Day, the studio will be closed Monday, Sept 5th. I encourage each of you to take some time to rest, reset, and recharge. Your body will thank you.
